Ruth Wye is a freelance translator English > German, NAATI accredited (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd) living in Queensland, Australia.
She is also a member of AUSIT (The Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators).
Born near Hamburg/Germany she started her career as a “Merchant of Industry” (assessed as comparable to the educational level of an Australian [AQF] Certificate IV in Business) in 1983.
She developed her skills in 20 years experience in business management working and living in bi-lingual environments in Germany, UK and Australia.
With her passion for language and organising she constantly strived to perfect her skills.
In 2004 Ruth moved to Australia with her family to live on Queensland’s beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Living in this multi-cultural country inspired her to take her career to the next level and she got NAATI accreditation in 2009.
